Hey! The name's Adam. Founder of Buy Sell Eat Ventures.

I have been supporting my family since 2001 buying and selling things (businesses, currencies, stocks, crypto, artwork, etc.) so my family can eat.

I buy, sell, and then they eat. Hence the business name.

I have succeeded in:

  • trading full-time between 2010-2012, starting with $5000, to let me ...
  • build and sell my first test e-commerce business in 2018 for $3,500 to buy a beat-up Ford that I still so proudly drive, which got me hooked and led me to ...
  • bootstrapping and selling another e-commerce business (currently under NDA) for 7 figures+ in 2020 that I bought a house with, so I could ...
  • resume my full-time trading career as my "day job" to ...
  • acquire small online businesses for my team to build, and ultimately sell that lets me ...
  • feed the family and be free to dedicate myself to my health and serving others, but ...

I have not succeeded in:

  • trading full-time in 2001-2003, which led me to fail at ...
  • being a solopreneur four times over three decades, as well as ...
  • building seven other e-commerce businesses that lost money and had to be closed, getting me so desperate I ...
  • moved the family overseas for a new start before returning 2 weeks later after an earthquake (literally) knocked the dream down, however ...

With all that said, I am most proud of:

  • never quitting, and finally reaching my definition of success (which will always be different from yours)
  • being a trusted husband since 2000 in this age of quick-fire marriages
  • being a loving father since 2005 (to be clear, I wasn't a father before that, it's not like I was an un-loving father before 2005)
  • conquering cancer at age 30 in 2007 (16+ years ago now, f#$* you cancer)
  • having built financial security for my family and a vehicle to give back to those who I think need it

Anything you see or read is my opinion sourced from my experience of trying, failing, and trying again over many ... many ... years of online business, trading, and investing.

I'll leave you with the paraphrasing of two quotes, that ring true to me.

Neither are mine, but over time, they remain as true as ever:

"If you quit, they won't care, but you will always know" - A quote related to Ironman Triathlons, but rings true for me in business
"Anyone who says money doesn't make you happy, hasn't given enough away" - Money is only as good/bad as what those who own it
